Hymn for the Day MHB 350
Stanza 1
WITH broken heart and contrite sigh,
A trembling sinner, Lord, I cry;
Thy pardoning grace is rich and free:
O God, be merciful to me!
Stanza 2
I smite upon my troubled breast
With deep and conscious guilt oppressed;
Christ and His cross my only plea:
O God, be merciful to me!
Stanza 3
Far off I stand with tearful eyes,
Nor dare uplift them to the skies;
But Thou dost all my anguish see;
O God, be merciful to me!
Stanza 4
Nor alms nor deeds that I have done,
Can for a single sin atone:
To Calvary alone I flee;
O God, be merciful to me!
Stanza 5
And when, redeemed from sin and hell,
With all the ransomed throng I dwell,
My ruptured song shall ever be:
God, has been merciful to me!

THE HAND OF GOD WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE Daily Devotional Wednesday, February 14, 2018 By Bro. Richard Akrofii
Don’t let your hands go weary because of what you see others do or what is going on around you.
“Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.”

Be Careful With God's Words Daily Devotional | Wednesday, February 7, 2018 By Very Rev. Piesie Shadrack Asiedu-Larbi
Humans seem to have a tendency to embellish or change the things they talk about. We enlarge an experience or just continue to talk in order to have people pay attention to us. Generally, we are not terribly careful about our words. However, when it comes to repeating or working with the words of God, we need to be very careful. We must not add a word or take one away from what God has spoken (Proverbs 30:6). Words that are added or removed can change the tone and meaning of a sentence. God's words are holy.
James wrote that the tongue is very hard to control (James 3:8). It is bad enough when we err with our words or experiences, but when it comes to that which God has spoken, there is no room allowed for error. His words are pure and holy. Anyone who would dare to change them is in danger of being removed from the roll call of the Book of Life (Revelation 22:19). Control your tongue!!! Be wise!!!!??
ITS GOOD TO SET GOALS BUT... Daily Devotional | Tuesday, February 6, 2018 By Richard Akrofi
Setting goals takes desire, but completing them takes determination
““Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:” ??1 Corinthians? ?9:24-26? ?KJVA??
Have a fruitful day and may God help us accomplish our goals
GOD'S WORD IS FOOD FOR THE SOUL KindomNomics | Saturday, February 3, 2018 By kingdomnomics.com
Scripture: Matthew 4:4, NIV
“Jesus answered, ‘It is written: “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”’ (Matthew 4:4, NIV)
There you have it. If we are going to experience a true spiritual life renewal, we need to know and receive the Word of God, “but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” (2 Timothy 1:10, NKJV)
Without God’s Word we are weak, ignorant vessels, losing our way in this complex world system dedicated to keep us from discovering and living the truth.
Why do you think Job said he treasured God’s Word more than his necessary food? Why do you think Jeremiah said he ate God’s Word when he found it? Why do you think David said God’s Word was more valuable to him than thousands of pieces of gold and silver?
David said, “This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life.” (Psalm 119:50, NKJV)
Jesus said, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63, NKJV)
The critical message in these passages of Scripture is, “know and live God’s Word.” We cannot live without it. God’s Word is food for our soul.
Peter tells us, “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” (2 Peter 1:19, NKJV)
It is through the Word of God that our mind is renewed, enabling us to discern what the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God is for our life.
Today, ask yourself:
Do I understand that I need God’s Word as much as physical food in order to live properly in this world?
